Wendy Melvoin & Lisa Coleman (Heroes, Dangerous Minds, Nurse Jackie, Crossing Jordan)are the composers of the new Netflix limited series True Story. The show is created by Eric Newman (Narcos, Children of Men, Dawn of the Dead) and stars Kevin Hart, Wesley Snipes, Tawny Newsome, Theo Rossi, Will Catlett, Paul, Adelstein, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lauren London and Billy Zane. The 7-part drama follows a world-famous comedian who desperately searches for a way out after a night in Philadelphia with his brother threatens to sabotage more than his success. Newman and Hart are also executive producing the project with Stephen Williams (Watchmen) who also directed the first three episodes. True Story will premiere tomorrow, November 24 exclusively on Netflix.
Wendy & Lisa are also expected to return to score the second season of Freeform’s Cruel Summer.
