Justin Burnett is returning as the composer for the upcoming romantic drama After We Collided, the sequel to last year’s After. The film is directed by Roger Kumble (Cruel Intentions, The Sweetest Thing) and stars Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Dylan Sprouse, Charlie Weber, Candice King, Karimah Westbrook, Rob Estes, Shane Paul McGhie, Samuel Larsen, Dylan Arnold and Khadijha Red. The movie is based on the YA romance novel by Anna Todd who also wrote the sequel’s screenplay with Mario Celaya. Todd is also producing the Voltage Pictures production with Jennifer Gibgot (Tangled, Step Up), Mark Canton (300, Immortals), Courtney Solomon (Cake, Mr. Church), Nicholas Chartier (The Hurt Locker, Colossal) and Brian Pitt. After We Collided will be released theatrically in various international territories starting this September. No domestic release date has been announced yet.
Burnett (Dungeons & Dragons, An American Haunting, Getaway, Re-Kill) has also recently co-scored the first season of the Fox series 9-1-1: Lone Star, which has been renewed for a second season, which is set to premiere in 2021.
