The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama Marshall have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Marcus Miller (Boomerang, Everybody Hates Chris, Two Can Play That Game). Also included is the original song Stand Up for Something by Andra Day feat. Common (co-written by Diane Warren), which is already available as a digital single, as well as another track by Day. The soundtrack will be released tomorrow, September 29, by Warner Bros. Records and will be available to download on Amazon. Marshall is directed by Reginald Hudlin and stars Chadwick Boseman, Josh Gad, Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens, Sterling K. Brown and James Cromwell. The movie tells the story of Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, as he battles through one of his career-defining cases.
The drama will be released in theaters nationwide on October 13, 2017 by Open Road Films.
