Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) has published a number of video clips from the organization’s 2016 BMI Film/TV Awards gala, which was held this past Wednesday at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Check out the acceptance speech of this year’s recipient of the BMI Icon Award, James Newton Howard (The Sixth Sense, The Fugitive, The Hunger Games, King Kong, Maleficent, Signs, Pretty Woman), as well as the speech of David Newman (Anastasia, Ice Age, Serenity, The War of the Roses, Hoffa) who was honored with the BMI Classic Contribution Award, after the jump.
