Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1991 sports comedy Necessary Roughness directed by Stan Dragoti and starring Scott Bakula, Robert Loggia, Sinbad and Hector Elizondo. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Bill Conti (Rocky, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Right Stuff). The soundtrack features the composer’s complete score from the Paramount Pictures production, as well as couple of alternate cues. The label has also announced a reissue of the soundtrack for the 1979 disaster thriller Meteor directed by Ronald Neame and starring Sean Connery, Natalie Wood, Karl Malden, Martin Landau, Brian Keith and Henry Fonda. The film’s music is composed and conducted by Laurence Rosenthal (Clash of the Titans, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles).
