Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Turning Point: Generation 9/11. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Dragonetti (The Internet’s Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz, All About Nina, The American Experiment, Scouts Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America, We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists) who previously scored 2011’s Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror, 2024’s Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War and last year’s Turning Point: The Vietnam War. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 2. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Turning Point: Generation 9/11 is directed by Brian Knappenberger and explores how 9/11 shaped a generation, 25 years later, from children who lost their parents in the attacks to young Afghans and Marines forced to deal with the fallout of America’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan and to journalists who cut their teeth on the original War on Terror.The 5-part series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
