Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Dragonetti (The Internet’s Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz, All About Nina, Scouts Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America, We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists) who previously scored 2021’s Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 12 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Listen to the composer’s main title track track (Only the Beginning) below. Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War is directed by Brian Knappenberger and traces the history of the Cold War, beginning with the development of the atomic bomb and the dramatic proliferation of nuclear weapons in the decades after, past the collapse of the Soviet Union to the rise of Vladimir Putin and into the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The 9-part series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
