Christopher Young (HellraiserSpider-Man 3, Sinister, Drag Me to Hell, The HurricaneGhost RiderThe Shipping News, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) is attached to score the upcoming feature adaptation of the indie horror novel Haunting Skies. The film is directed by the book’s author Christian Kang Bachini and will star Natasha Halevi and Emily Ashby. The movie imagines an Earth already conquered by alien invaders who abduct the remaining survivors for grotesque experiments, including a young girl possessed by Satan, and follows the last surviving exorcist as he devises a plan to get her aboard the alien mothership and make a deal with the Devil to turn Hell against the invaders. Heather Brittain is producing the project for Via Mantra. Haunting Skies will begin as a 30-minute proof of concept. (Variety)
