Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Indian Netflix original series Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Anurag Saikia (Ill Smoking Barrels, Panchayat, Article 15). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main theme after the jump. A separate soundtrack EP featuring the songs from the series was released last month by T-Series. Operation Safed Sagar is created by Abhijeet Singh Parmar & Kushal Srivastava and stars Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Taaruk Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Arnav Bhasin, Dia Mirza, Amrita Bagchi, Prajakta Koli and Adil Hussain. The 6-part military drama takes place in 1999 as the the Kargil War erupts between India and Pakista and the Golden Arrows squadron of the Air Force takes flight on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. The series just premiered yesterday and is now available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
