Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original true crime documentary Maternal Instinct. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jimmy Stofer (Girl in the Picture, American Murder: Laci Peterson, Icahn: The Restless Billionaire, The Truth About Jim). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 17. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Maternal Instinct is directed by Jessica Dimmock and tells the story of Taylor Parker, a young woman who fell for a local hog trapper and within months announced her pregnancy, but when a state trooper pulls her over and discovers she has just given birth in her car, her story quickly falls apart, exposing the truth behind a terrifying and unthinkable crime. The documentary just premiered last Friday and is now available to stream on Netflix.
