Arthur Sharpe (Landscapers, Prime Target, GuiltThe Electrical Life of Louis Wain, GhostsFlowers, Dreamland) has recently composed the music for the new British Disney+/Hulu original series Alice and Steve. The show is created by Sophie Goodhart (My Blind Brother) and stars Nicola Walker, Jemaine Clement, Yali Topol Margalith and Joel Fry. The comedy directed by Tom Kingsley (Deep Cover) follows a woman who is devastated when her best friend starts dating her 26-year-old daughter and decides to use whatever tools she has at her disposal to end the relationship: from threats, to begging, to sabotaging his career. Goodhart is also executive producing the Clerkenwell Films production with Andy Baker (Lovesick, Truelove), Petra Fried & Ed Macdonald (Baby Reindeer, The End of the F***ing World). Alice and Steve will premiere next Monday, June 8 in the U.S. on Hulu and most major international markets on Disney+.

Sharpe’s other recent scoring projects include Molly Manners’ Extra Geography, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is currently awaiting a release date.
