Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series The Witcher. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s fourth season composed by Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, The Raid: Redemption, G20) and Max Davidoff-Grey (The Gates, Men Grieving). Also included is the song Shadows of the Night by Half Moon Run. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 31 (click here to stream/download). A limited physical edition (on orange and black marbled vinyl) will be released on December 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Milan Records has previously released multiple soundtracks featuring the music from the first three seasons. The Witcher is created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series and stars Liam Hemsworth, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey, Laurence Fishburne, Eamon Farren, Mimî M Khayisa, Anna Shaffer, Cassie Clare, Mahesh Jadu, Graham McTavish, Meng’er Zhang, Royce Pierreson, Sharlto Copley,Mecia Simson, Danny Woodburn, Jeremy Crawford, Bart Edwards, Hugh Skinner, James Purefoy, Christelle Elwin, Juliette Alexandra, Fabian McCallum, Ben Radcliffe, Linden Porco, Connor Crawford, Aggy K. Adams, Therica Wilson-Read, Rochelle Rose and Safiyya Ingar. Season 4 of the fantasy drama will premiere this Thursday, October 30 exclusively on Netflix.
