Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1991 Spanish drama High Heels (Tacones Lejanos) written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar and starring Victoria Abril, Marisa Paredes and Miguel Bosé. The album features the newly remastered original score from the film composed by Academy Award winner Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Last Emperor,  The Revenant,  Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Little BuddhaSnake Eyes)  The soundtrack is now available to order as a CD and limited edition vinyl on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. Antilles & Island Records have previously released the original soundtrack album on CD back in 1992 and a digital version is now also available. High Heels was released in 1991 (distributed in the U.S. by Miramax) and is now available on VOD and DVD.
