Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the (HBO) Max original animated series Gremlins: The Wild Batch. The album features selections of the original music from the second season of the animated Gremlins series composed by Emmy Award nominee Sherri Chung (Kung Fu, Riverdale, Based on a True Story, Found, Happiness for Beginners, The Last Husband). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 25. WaterTower Music has previously released an album featuring the composer’s music from Season 1 (entitled Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai) back in 2023. Gremlins: The Wild Batch is developed by Tze Chun based on Joe Dante’s Gremlins films and features the voices of Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, AJ LoCascio, Izaac Wang, Gabrielle Nevaeh and George Takei. Season 2 follows Gizmo, Sam & Elle as they travel from their home in Shanghai to San Francisco, bringing even more magic, mystery and Mogwai mayhem. The Warner Bros. Animation & Amblin Television production premiered in two batches last year and this past April and is now available to stream on HBO Max.
