Opening semi-wide in around 800 theaters is the biographical drama Lee directed by Ellen Kuras and starring Kate Winslet, Josh O’Connor, Andy Samberg, Andrea Riseborough, Alexander Skarsgård and Marion Cotillard. The film’s original music is composed by Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, The King’s Speech, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, Godzilla). The movie, which follows a devout cult of mute zealots who hunts down a young woman who escaped her own imprisonment and she will stop at nothing to ensure her own survival, premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being distributed by IFC Films & Shudder.
