Peter Gregson (A Little Chaos, Blackbird, Waco: The Aftermath, Adolescence) is the composer of the new BBC drama Lost Boys & Fairies. The show is created by Daf James and stars Sion Daniel Young, Fra Fee, Sharon D Clarke, Elizabeth Berrington, Emrys, Arwel Gruffydd, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Shaheen Jafargholi, Mali Ann Rees, Leo Harris and Gwyneth Keyworth. The 3-part series directed by James Kent (The Aftermath, Testament of Youth) tells the story of a singer and artiste-extraordinaire at Cardiff’s queer club-space ‘Neverland’ as he embarks upon a journey of self-discovery when he – together with his partner – longs to adopt a child and has to convince their social worker that they’re up to the task. James also serves as the project’s music director and is executive producing the Duck Soup Films production with Kent, Rebekah Wray-Rogers, Jessica Brown Meek, Libby Durdy (Traders), Sophie Francis, as well as Jo McClellan (I May Destroy You, The Last Panthers) and Nick Andrews (Men Up). Lost Boys & Fairies is premiering in the UK tonight on BBC One.
Gregson’s other recent scoring projects include Natalie Erika James’ Rosemary’s Baby prequel Apartment 7A (co-scored with Adam Price), which is set to premiere this fall on Paramount+.
