The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, 3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Logan, Ford v. Ferrari). Opening semi-wide in around 500 theaters is the coming-of-age dramedy Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe written and directed by Aitch Alberto and starring Max Pelayo, Reese Gonzales, Eva Longoria, Eugenio Derbez, Veronica Falcón and Kevin Alejandro. The film’s original music is composed by Isabella Summers (Little Fires Everywhere, Physical, The Offer, Sex/Life). No word on a soundtrack release. Opening in select U.S. theaters is the Hungarian historical drama Hadik directed by János Szikora and starring Zsolt Trill, Áron Molnár, Lili Horváth, Tamás Szalma and Lili Bordán. Robert Gulya (Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn, In the Name of Sherlock Holmes, Budapest Heist) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score was released earlier this year when the movie opened overseas. Also opening in select theaters before coming out on VOD next Friday, September 15, is the horror romance My Animal directed by Jacqueline Castel and starring Amandla Stenberg, Bobbi Salvör Menuez, Heidi von Palleske, Stephen McHattie, Cory Lipman and Joe Apollonio. The film’s original music is composed by Augustus Muller of the electronic music duo Boy Harsher. No soundtrack album has been released. Also opening in select theaters before premiering on Prime Video next Friday, September 15, is the biographical drama A Million Miles Away directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella and starring Michael Peña, Rosa Salazar, Veronica Falcón, Bobby Soto, Sarayu Blue, Garret Dillahunt, Julio César Cedillo and Eric Johnson.
