Premiering tomorrow, July 28, is the Hulu original series The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball created by Ben Bocquelet and starring Alkaio Thiele, Hero Hunter, Kinza Syed Khan, Teresa Gallagher and Dan Russell. Xav Clarke (Wolfboy and the Everything Factory, Elliott from Earth, The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe) is composing the show’s original music. The sequel to The Amazing World of Gumball produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe follows Gumball Watterson, his brother Darwin, his sister Anais, and the other quirky residents of Elmore on new adventures and will be available to stream in the U.S. exclusively on Hulu.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, July 29, is the British TV series Dope Girls developed by Polly Stenham & Alex Warren and starring Julianne Nicholson, Eilidh Fisher, Eliza Scanlen, Umi Myers, Geraldine James, Rory Fleck Bryne, Dustin Demri-Burns, Sebastian Croft, Michael Duke, Ian Bonar, Laura Checkley, Harry Cadby, Priya Kansara, Will Keen, Nabhaan Rizwan and Jordan Kouame. The show’s original music is composed by the experimental vocalist & electronic artist collective NYX. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artists’ score earlier this year when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. Premiering on Friday, August 1, is the Netflix original film My Oxford Year directed by Iain Morris and starring Sofia Carson, Corey Mylchreest, Catherine McCormack, Dougray Scott, Esmé Kingdom, Poppy Gilbert, Nikhil Parmar and Harry Trevaldwyn. Isabella Summers (Lisa Frankenstein, Little Fires Everywhere, KAOS, Lady Chatterley’s LoverThe OfferPhysicalHitpig!) has composed the movie’s original music. Also premiering on Friday is the Apple TV+ limited series Chief of War created by Jason Momoa & Thomas Pa‘a Sibbett and starring Momoa himself, Luciane Buchanan, Cliff Curtis, Temuera Morrison, Kaina Makua, Moses Goods, Te Ao o Hinepehinga, Brandon Finn, James Udom, Siua Ikale‘o, Mainei Kinimaka, Te Kohe Tuhaka and Benjamin Hoetjes. The show’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark KnightThe Lion KingInceptionGladiator, DuneInterstellar) & James Everingham (Apollo: Missions to the MoonThe Real Right Stuff).
