Gaumont has released a soundtrack album for the French sci-fi comedy Black to the Future (Le grand déplacement). The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Roussel (The Three Musketeers –  D’Artagnan & Milady, 3 Days to Kill, Black Beauty, Expend4blesLift, The SpyHappy!, The Man with the Iron HeartNovember). Black to the Future is co-written and directed by Jean-Pascal Zadi and stars Zadi himself, Reda Kateb, Lous and the Yakuza, Fadily Camara, Fary and Éric Judor. The movie follows a coalition of African nations as they launch the very first space mission to explore the planet NARDAL with the goal to assess whether it could host African populations if Earth becomes uninhabitable. The comedy is being released in French theaters today.
