Because Music & Silex Films have released a soundtrack album for the French coming-of-age drama Wild Diamond (Diamant Brut). The album features the film’s original music composed by Audrey Ismaël (The Path of Excellence, Germinal, Consent, Gloria, The Kingdom, Chacun pour tous). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Wild Diamond is written and directed by Agathe Riedinger and stars Malou Khebizi, Idir Azougli, Andréa Bescond, Alexis Manenti, Ashley Romano, Kilia Fernane Alexandra Noisier, Léa Gorla and Antonia Buresi. The movie revolves around a 19-year old girl whose quick rise to fame in the world of social influencers explodes when she gets cast in a reality TV show. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival,  has just been released in French theaters yesterday and has been picked up by Strand Releasing for a domestic release in early 2025.
