Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Italian/French historical drama The Flood (Le Déluge). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso (Kidnapped: The Abduction of Edgardo MortaraExterior Night, The Time It Takes). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump.  The Flood is co-written and directed by Gianluca Jodice and stars Guillaume Canet and Mélanie Laurent. The movie explores the last days of Louis XVI and his wife Marie-Antoinette after they have been arrested and imprisoned in the Tour du Temple and are isolated and vulnerable for the first time in their lives as they are awaiting their trial. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Locarno Film Festival, is opening in Italian theaters today and will be released in French theaters on December 25.
