Eastern Glow Recordings has released two soundtrack albums for the sci-fi thriller Things Will Be Different. The first album features the film’s original score composed by Jimmy LaValle (aka The Album Leaf) (Synchronic, The Endless, Spring, Something in the Dirt, The F**k-It List) with Michael A. Muller and the second album features the original songs Time Keeps Dancing written, produced and performed by LaValle feat. vocals by Heather Woods Broderick and Shadow Dance written, produced and performed by Lorna Dune & Keith Sweaty, as well as demo versions and two remixes of the tracks. Things Will Be Different is written and directed by Michael Felker and stars Adam David Thompson, Riley Dandy, Chloe Skoczen, Sarah Bolger, Justin Benson and Jori Lynn Felker. The movie follows two siblings who are fleeing the police after a robbery and escape to a mysterious farmhouse that transports them to a different time, where they reckon with a sinister force that keeps them captive until its deadly demands are met. The thriller premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in select theaters and on VOD today by Magnolia Pictures’ Magnet Releasing before coming out on DVD on January 7, 2025.
