Columbia Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the animated documentary Piece By Piece. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the film’s title song written and performed by Pharrell Williams (feat.Princess Anne High School Fabulous Marching Cavaliers). Piece by Piece is directed by Morgan Neville and tells Williams’ life story through LEGO pieces featuring the voices of Williams himself, Gwen Stefani, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland & others. The documentary just premiered last weekend at the Telluride Film Festival and will also screen at the Toronto International Film Festival before being in theaters on October 11 by Focus Features.
