Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the documentary Jim Henson Idea Man. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Fleming (The Last of Us, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Hillbilly Elegy, Damsel, The Unforgivable, Blue Planet II, The Night Logan Woke Up). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 31 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Jim Henson Idea Man is directed by Ron Howard and explores the creative visionary’s mind, from his early years puppeteering on local television to the worldwide success of The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and beyond. The movie features never-before-seen materials from Henson’s personal archives, as well as new interviews with his’s closest collaborators and children. The Imagine Documentaries production opened in select theaters last Friday and will premiere tomorrow on Disney+.
