Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s British original film The Kitchen. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Labrinth (Euphoria, Malcolm & Marie) and Alex Baranowski (True Things, Locked In, The Windmere Children, Rain Dogs). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to the composers’ title track below. The Kitchen is directed by Kibwe Tavares & Daniel Kaluuya and stars Kane Robinson, Hope Ikpoku Jr, Teija Kabs, Jedaiah Bannerman and Demmy Ladipo. The dystopian drama is set in London, 2044, in a future where the gap between rich and poor has been stretched to its limits, and follows a resident who is desperately trying to find a way out and 12-year-old boy who has lost his mother and is searching for a family. The film premiered at last year’s BFI London Film Festival and made its streaming debut this past January on Netflix.
