Ludwig Göransson has received his first BAFTA Award for his music for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in the Original Score category at today’s 2024 EE British Academy Film Awards ceremony in London. He previously won the Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award and is also up for an Academy Award for his score for the biographical thriller. The other composers nominated in the category were Robbie Robertson (Killers of the Flower Moon), Jerskin Fendrix (Poor Things), Anthony Willis (Saltburn) and Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse).
