Amanda Jones (Moving On, Super/Natural, Naomi, The Perfect Find, Good Trouble, Young Love) has provided the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Mea Culpa. The movie is directed by Tyler Perry and stars Kelly Rowland, Trevante Rhodes, Sean Sagar, Nick Sagar and RonReaco Lee. The legal drama revolves around a criminal defense attorney who takes on the case of a seductive artist accused of murdering his girlfriend and tries to determine the innocence or guilt of her client. Perry and Rowland are also producing the project with Tyler Perry Studios’ Angi Bones (The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2) and Will Areu (Nobody’s Fool, Acrimony). Mea Culpa will premiere on February 23, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
Jones is also expected to return the second season of HBO’s Somebody Somewhere and the second season of the Max animated series Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake.
