22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian animated feature Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds (Sirocco et le Royaume des Courants d’Air). The album features the film’s original music composed by Pablo Pico (Adama, Marona’s Fantastic Tale, Saving Sally). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to two tracks from the composer’s score below. Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds is co-written and directed by Benoît Chieux and follows two sisters who discover a secret passage to the world of their favorite book and – after being transformed into cats and separated from each other – have to find their way back home. The animated fantasy adventure premiered at this year’s Annecy Film Festival and just opened in French and Belgian theaters yesterday.
