La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1992 comedic thriller Sneakers directed by Phil Alden Robinson and starring Robert Redford, Dan Aykroyd, Mary McDonnell, Ben Kingsley,River Phoenix, David Strathairn and Sidney Poitier. The album features the film’s expanded and remastered original score composed and conducted by James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, Braveheart, Legends of the Fall, Field of Dreams), including previously unreleased music. Saxophonist/composer Branford Marsalis is the featured soloist on the score. The 2-CD set, which is limited to 3,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find more about the release. Columbia Records has released the original 1992 soundtrack album. Sneakers is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
