Sony Masterworks will release a new soundtrack album for the FX original series Fargo. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth season composed by Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, For All Mankind, The Night Of, The Man Who Fell to Earth, The Umbrella Academy, Lucy in the Sky) who has received his first Emmy Award for his score from Season 3. The Year 5 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released multiple albums featuring Russo’s music from Season 1, Season 2, Season 3 & Season 4. Season 5 of Fargo created by Noah Hawley stars Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Lamorne Morris, Joe Keery, Sam Spruell and Dave Foley. The new season, which is set in Minnesota and North Dakota, 2019 and follows a seemingly typical Midwestern housewife who is suddenly plunged back into a life she thought she had left behind, will premiere tomorrow on FX and will also be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
