Dominik Scherrer (The Serpent, Ripper Street, Primeval, Baptiste, Requiem, The Confessions of Frannie Langton) is the composer of the new BBC drama Boat Story. The show is written by Harry & Jack Williams and stars Daisy Haggard, Paterson Joseph, Craig Fairbrass, Jonas Armstrong, Michele Austin, Ethan Lawrence, Tcheky Karyo and Joanna Scanlan. The series follows two strangers who discover a haul of cocaine on a washed-up boat and become the targets of a vengeful mob boss, his hit man and the police. Harry & Jack Williams (Fleabag, White Dragon) are also executive producing the Two Brothers Pictures production with Chris Aird (Call the Midwife, Liar), Sarah Hammond (Angela Black, Back to Life) and Daniel Walker. Scherrer has previously collaborated with the creators on such shows as The Missing, The Widow, Baptiste and The Tourist. Boat Story will premiere in the UK on November 19, 2023 on BBC One.
Scherrer is also returning to score the second season of BBC’s & Max’s The Tourist.
