Promenades Films has released a soundtrack album for the Nicaraguan drama Daughter of Rage (La hija de todas las rabias). The album features the film’s original music composed by Arthur Simonini (Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Vampires, Hibou, Tendre et saignant) & Para One (Petite Maman, Sirens). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here and also listen to the first track (La hija) after the jump. Daughter of Rage is written and directed by Laura Baumeister and stars Ara Alejandra Medal, Virginia Sevilla, Carlos Gutiérrez, Noé Hernández and Diana Sedano. The movie revolves around an 11-year-old girl and her mother whose band hets tested when they are suddenly separated while eking out a precarious existence near the country’s biggest landfill. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, was released in Spain earlier this year and is opening in French theaters today.
