Andrew Bird (Norman, Baskets, Outside In, The Bubble) has composed the original score for the upcoming noir comedy Poolman. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Chris Pine and stars Pine himself, Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, Jennifer Jason Leigh and DeWanda Wise. The movie follows an anxious pool cleaner who uncovers a curious conspiracy in the city of Los Angeles. Pine also co-wrote the screenplay with Ian Gotler. They are both also producing the project with Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman, Monster) and Stacey Sher (Django Unchained, Erin Brockovich). Poolman is premiering tonight at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
