Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow, WandaVision, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) & Matthew Feder have composed the original score for the new Netflix documentary series Arnold. The show is directed by Lesley Chilcott and follows Arnold Schwarzenegger’s multifaceted life and career, from bodybuilding champ to Hollywood icon to politician. The 3-parter features interview with Arnold himself, his friends, foes, co-stars and observers and covers everything from his days pumping iron to his triumphs in Hollywood and his time governing the state of California. Chilcott is also executive producing the project with Allen Hughes (The Book of Eli, From Hell), Peter Nelson (Dear Mama, Being Serena), Paul Wachter and Doug Pray (The Defiant Ones). Beck has previously collaborated with Chilcott on the features Waiting for Superman & Watson and the docuseries Helter Skelter: An American Myth (co-scored with Leo Birenberg). Arnold will premiere next Wednesday, June 7, exclusively on Netflix.
Beck’s other recent/upcoming projects include the Netflix animated film Nimona, Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Jerry Seinfeld’s Unfrosted.
