Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the biographical sports drama Shooting Stars. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Mark Isham (A River Runs Through It, Crash, Once Upon a Time, Miracle, 42, The Accountant, Warrior). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 2 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Shooting Stars is directed by Chris Robinson and stars Marquis “Mookie” Cook, Caleb McLaughlin, Dermot Mulroney, Khalil Everage, Avery S. Wills and Sterling “Scoot” Henderson. The movie tells the origin story of LeBron James, revealing how the basketball hero and his childhood friends become the top high school team in the country, launching his career as a four-time NBA Champion, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. The Universal Pictures production will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Peacock.
