MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Just the Two Of Us (L’amour et les forêts). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Judy, Cold Mountain, Betty Blue, 1408). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Just the Two of Us is co-written and directed by Valérie Donzelli and stars Virginie Efira, Melvil Poupaud, Dominique Reymond, Romane Bohringer and Virginie Ledoyen. The movie is based on Eric Reinhardt’s novel of the same title and centers on a woman caught up in a toxic relationship with a possessive man. The drama is premiering this week at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival and is also opening in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
