The details of the latest soundtrack album the Amazon original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been revealed. The album features the original score from the eighth and final episode (entitled Alloyed) of the show’s first season composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Outlander, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon Music. McCreary’s score from Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 has been released over the last couple of weeks weeks. Also available to stream now (as part of the Season One album) is the song Where the Shadows Lie by McCreary feat. Fiona Apple from the season finale. The eighth episode of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is premiering this Friday on Prime Video.
