Music Box Records has announced a soundtrack album for the French family drama The Time of Secrets (Le Temps des Secrets). The album features the film’s original music composed, orchestrated and conducted by Philippe Rombi (Swimming PoolAngel, In the House, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic PotionJoyeux Noel) and performed by the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France. The CD will be released on March 15 and is now available for pre-order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. A digital version will be available to stream/download here. The Time of Secrets is co-written and directed by Christophe Barratier (The Chorus) and stars Guillaume de Tonquédec, Mélanie Doutey, François-Xavier Demaison, Anne Charrier and Léo Campion. The Lionceau Films & Pathé Films production is based on Marcel Pagnol’s eponymous and centers on the author’s childhood memories as he embarks on his last summer vacation before high school and returns to his beloved hills in Provence. The movie will be released in French theaters on March 23.
