Quartet Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Spanish drama Love Gets a Room (El amor en su lugar). The album features the film’s original music written by Emmy Award winner Victor Reyes (The Night Manager, Buried, Grand Piano, Red Lights, Down a Dark Hall, Perfect Strangers) who composed both the songs and the score for the project. The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally within the next couple of days. A CD version, which is limited to 500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website. Love Gets a Room is co-written and directed by Rodrigo Cortés and stars Clara Rugaard, Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Mark Ryder and Valentina Belle. The movie is set in German-occupied Warsaw during World War II and follows a band of Jewish actors contemplating escape while staging the Jerzy Jurandot-penned play of the same name. The drama is being released in Spanish theaters this weekend. No word yet on a release in the U.S.
