My Name Is Pauli Murray is directed by Julie Cohen & Betsy West (RBG) and centers on Pauli Murray, a legal trailblazer whose ideas influenced RBG’s fight for gender equality and Thurgood Marshall’s civil rights arguments. This movie focuses on their impact as a non-binary Black luminary: lawyer, activist, poet, and priest who transformed our world.The documentary, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, was released in select theaters last month and is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
