Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, Money Monster, Free Birds, DuckTales) has composed the original music for the upcoming action comedy Jolt. The film is directed by Tanya Wexler (Hysteria, Buffaloed) and stars Kate Beckinsale, Bobby Cannavale, Jai Courtney, Laverne Cox and Stanley Tucci. The movie follows a bouncer with an anger-management problem that she controls with the help of an electrode-lined vest who goes on a revenge-fueled rampage to find the killer of the first guy she’s ever fallen for while the cops pursue her as their chief suspect. Scott Wascha wrote the screenplay. David Bernardi (Blackbird) and Les Weldon (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, London/Angel Has Fallen) are producing the Millennium Media production with Sherryl Clark (Plush, Viral). Jolt is expected to be released later this year.
Lewis’ other recent feature projects include Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, which is currently playing in Australian theaters and is set to debut in U.S. theaters on June 18, 2021, as well as Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man (co-scored with Matthew Margeson), which is currently scheduled to be released theatrically on December 22, 2021.
