Christophe Beck & Jeff Morrow have teamed up to score the upcoming Disney+ animated short Once Upon a Snowman. The film is directed by Trent Correy & Dan Abraham and stars Josh Gad as Olaf from the Frozen franchise. The movie follows Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle. Nicole Hearon and Peter Del Vecho (The Princess and the Frog, Winnie the Pooh) are producing the Walt Disney Animation Studios production. Beck (Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover, The Muppets, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) who composed the original score for both the original Frozen feature and last year’s Frozen II, as well as the 2015 short Frozen Fever, and Morrow (Science Fair, Ibiza, Trolls Holiday) have previously shared scoring credits on the 2017 TV special Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. Once Upon a Snowman will premiere on October 23 exclusively on Disney+.
Beck’s other upcoming projects include Shawn Levy’s Free Guy, which is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on December 11,2020 by 20th Century Studios/Disney.
