All3Media has released a soundtrack album for the reboot of the classic detective series Van Der Valk. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season (consisting of three feature-length episodes) composed and conducted by Matthijs Kieboom (Wild, Bloody Marie). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Van Der Valk is written by Chris Murray and stars Marc Warren in the title role, alongside Maimie McCoy, Elliot Barnes-Worrell, Darrell D’Silva and Emma Fielding. The drama revolves around a street-smart and unapologetic detective Piet Van Der Valk as he is investigating high profile cases and gritty murders that immerse him and his team in contemporary Amsterdam’s fast-paced worlds of art, politics, addiction, mysticism, and fashion. The series will premiere in the UK this Sunday on ITV and will make its U.S. debut later this year on PBS.
