Disney has announced today that Brandi Carlile has recorded the original end credits song Carried Me With You for Pixar’s animated feature Onward. The track is written by Carlile, Phil Hanseroth and Tim Hanseroth and will be included on the film’s official soundtrack album, which also features the movie’s original score composed by Mychael & Jeff Danna, and which will be released digitally on February 28, 2020 by Walt Disney Records. Check back on this page for the full album details. Onward is directed by Dan Scanlon and features the voices of Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer. The movie is set in a suburban fantasy world and follows two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there. The Pixar Animation Studios production will be released in theaters nationwide on March 6 by Walt Disney Pictures.
