Hildur Gudnadottir was honored with her first Critics’ Choice Award in the Best Score category for her music for Todd Phillips’ Joker at tonight’s 25th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards ceremony in Santa Monica, CA. The other composers nominated in the Best Score category were Michael Abels for Us, Alexandre Desplat for Little Women, Randy Newman for Marriage Story, Thomas Newman for 1917 and Robbie Robertson for The Irishman.
In the Best Song category, there was a tie between Glasgow (No Place Like Home) (written by Mary Steenburgen, Caitlyn Smith & Kate York) from Wild Rose and I’m Gonna Love Me Again (written by Elton John & Bernie Taupin) from Rocketman.
