Siddhartha Khosla and Jeff Garber are composing the original score for the new CW drama Nancy Drew. The show is based on the book series of the same title created by Edward Stratemeyer and stars Kennedy McMann, Scott Wolf, Alex Saxon, Leah Lewis, Maddison Jaizani, Tunji Kasim, Riley Smith and Alvina August. The series follows the brilliant teenaged detective whose sense of self had come from solving mysteries in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine – until her mother’s untimely death derails her college plans. Fake Empire’s Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage (The O.C., Gossip Girl) and Lis Rowinski are executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Noga Landau (Tau) and Melinda Hsu Taylor (The Gifted, The Vampire Diaries). Khosla is also scoring Fake Empire’s Hulu series Runaways and Looking for Alaska for the producers. Nancy Drew will premiere on October 9, 2019 and will air every Wednesday night on The CW. Visit the official show website for updates.
Khosla’s other current scoring projects include NBC’s This Is Us (which airs every Tuesday night) and NBC’s Sunnyside (which airs on Thursday nights).
