  1. Chris says:

I’m not digging the new theme song

    • Cindy Henderson says:

It’s same song but different singer. Guy sang in season 1. You are so right. The girl singing this season just doesn’t have it. Much better last season!!

  2. I like season 1’s theme song a lot better than season 2

  3. I agree 110% Original is way better go back to that!!

  4. Rob B says:

Season 2’s version does not have the same feel as Season 1. Please go back to the original.

  5. Nicole B says:

I agree… I do not like the new theme song singer. Last seasons singer was way better! Bring back the old version

  6. Nicole B says:

I do not like the new theme song singer. Last seasons singer was way better! Bring back the old version

  7. Nicole B says:

This new theme song singer sucks

    • French says:

The new singer for the intro is terrible. Doesn’t represent the series is what so ever. Please go back and to season 1s and ditch hippy lame chick singing a song she knows nothing about. No soul in her voice.

    • Heidii says:

David Hidalgo gave the song that rough edge, the street cred that it needed. Diana Gameros doesn’t have what this song needs to suit the show.

  8. Will Thatcher says:

I have no idea what happened with the themesong… but please no more. We need a change soon. That singer and intro is awful and I love MAYANS.

  9. Bill says:

Go back to season 1 version, the season 2 version SUCKS

  10. Tricia says:

New song sucks go back to first season song

  11. Donna says:

New song sounds like a Disney movie theme song. Go back to original

  12. Mister Grumpy says:

The new title song totally blows. Go back to the one in season one.

  13. Christa says:

I agree with others on here. The original S1 singer is best. It had more heart. More fight. This new one felt like I was entering a taco joint.

  14. This is a biker show. The theme song needs to portray that and get you ready for the chaos to begin. This season 2 theme song is ridiculous and way too weak for this show. We need the rough theme song back ASAP!!

  15. Change it back. PLEASE, POR FAVOR, THE NEW VERSION IS SOOOOOOOO LAME.

  16. Chris G says:

The new intro song doesnt have the same grit as the original. Sounds more like a country love song now

  17. Scott Gaglardi says:

The new theme song and intro video/graphic is terrible

  18. Cricket says:

I agree with everyone. The original so to the mayans was soulful and rustic and had depth and meaning. But the new version lacks character and it’s just plan terrible.

  19. Eleanor says:

Please bring back the soul, the grit, the pathos of the Season 1 version. I was looking forward to hearing it again and against the original opening graphics. When Season 2 started so my heart sank when I heard the new version; both my husband and I hate it. We agree with everyone that the new version is too sweetish and absolutely not right for the show. Why was it changed anyway?

  20. Teresa says:

I can’t say that the new singer is the worse I have heard but why in the world would you change from season 1’s singer for the theme song? There is no comparison. Last year I always waited and listened to the great song. This year I DVR it and fast forward through it. Please bring back the one from season 1.

  21. Joanne McGettigan says:

The new theme song version, what were you thinking, is it a family member singing it? Old version was powerful, had heart, pain and told a strong story, please bring old version and singer back. It’s the only thing missing. Great show!
    Thank you.

  22. The new song SUX! GO BACK TO THE 1ST ONE.
    MAJOR TURN OFF.

  23. Please bring back the season one theme song ! This one had soul and this new one does not belong to this show.

  24. L says:

This theme song sucks. Why switch to a downgraded, English language, vanilla version? Go back to season 1 version.

  25. Bj613 says:

Season 1 song intro please! This season 2 one, I’m just not feelin it…BLEH!

  26. Shawn Phillips says:

The new theme song singer is way better than season one! Keep her!

  27. Lisbeth says:

Please go back to using original opening. The female version just kills the mood….there is no excitement and anticipation of what’s coming after you hear that train wreck of a song.

  28. RnM says:

Totally hate the new version of the theme song. Lacks soul/depth.

  29. Rich Johnson says:

Who did you cave to and change the theme song??????? This is not some “G” rated kiddie show. The original is the only version I want to hear. F*** Trump!

  30. Donna says:

I guess Kirt Sutter isnt going to listen to his fans. I was loyal for SOA. I don’t know about Myans if he doesn’t realize that almost everyone HATES the new song and he needs to change back to last years version then I will be changing the channel to something that doesn’t sound like a Disney tune.

  31. Arn says says:

No offense to the woman covering the song on season 2…but she in no one covers the song as well as its writer & singer David Hidalgo of Los Lobos fame…who sang season 1 version…I can only guess since season 2 is starting to bring fwd the importance of several female characters, that producers are trying to convey some of that…It DOESN’T WORK!!…i side with all the others on here…extreme let down everytime I hear it compared to its original from season 1…please please PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!

  32. Shantal Carter says:

I hate season 2’s version of Nunca. Bring back season one version, much more Bad Ass. This sounds like a little kids song.

  33. Michelle says:

I do not like new theme song. I loved season one’s song. Please change it back. It was so good why ruin it. Please listen to the fans…we all seem to agree.

  34. Todd M Smith says:

To be honest the new version sucks!. The first season version was 100% better.

  35. Kellie says:

Honestly the first time I heard this new theme I thought it was Katie Segal. I was wrong.

  36. Please go back to the season 1 song. It would get you into the mood for the show. The new one makes me want to skip through the grass. Please, please put that fake looking snake in the trash. Otherwise, love the show and storyline. Actors are fantastic. Just kill that new song.

  37. Greg says:

After watching SONS this is way more than a biker show.. and I like the new theme song.. I think it gives it more heritage to the mayans and it sounds like Katey Seagal singing to me and she did amazing with the sound track from SOA.

  38. Vanesa says:

First version better. Its the same song but the girl ruins how great the actual song is. Not the best decision.

  39. Tony says:

The new theme song for the intro sang by the woman sounds like crap …I like the old Version way better

  40. Miki says:

Of those who care enough to render an opinion, the consensus seems to be asking to change the theme song back to the male singer. That female doesn’t have the grit and fortitude the song deserves.

  41. 1st season singer gave the song grit and depth and credibility to the show…2nd season singer is lighter and thin vocally…take the edge of the show down considerably

  42. Please allow me to put my two sense in.
The singer of last year’s Mayans was more fitting to the program. This is and Hispanic Motorcycle Club with men not women I’m not racist or anything like that it’s just a fact that a motorcycles theme song does not sound good with a woman singing it this is a man’s program that are mean and fixed to do what they want he just don’t sound right to hear a woman singing it thank you for reading my suggestion and I hope the next year’s program goes back to the original singer thank

  43. Mike Crocker says:

OMG the season 2 song in Mayans MC SUUUUCKS!!! PLZ KURT SUTTER GO BACK TO THE SEASON 1 THEME SONG!!!!

  44. jpmills says:

lol lobos nailed it…change the theme back…the sessin 2 theme song does not set the feel of the series

  45. jpmills says:

lol lobos nailed it…change the theme back…the season 2 theme song does not set the feel of the series

  46. Cecelia says:

Please bring the original version back.

  47. Sandy says:

I liked the singer also from the first series..had more feeling.

  48. Karmic Charlie says:

Hamlets on Harleys aside, bikers and their old ladies have always bought hard into the male domination thing. So why shouldn’t a biker show’s fanboys and fangirls? Can’t wait for the 3rd lead singer next season!

  49. Vato loco says:

Porkay why don’t you learner good gram mar penche wey

  50. Sam says:

This seasons theme song sucks the big one! Wtf was Kurt Sutter thinking? Plz go back to the OG from season 1! This ain’t a p*ussy show but u jus pussified the song!

  51. My husband and I love the show, we do not like the new theme song. Please change it back.

  52. mark rannard says:

love the new song for season 2. Great voice. Lot of negative reviews. You just don’t have any taste

  53. Dingo says:

Lmao they both suck. 3rd grader melody, nonsensical lyrics, way too “try-hard” vibe.

  54. Dingo says:

Lmao they both suck. 3rd grader melody, nonsensical lyrics, way too “try-hard” vibe. Only chunkychunks and crunchbuckets with inflated self-importance would like it.
