Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Yesterday) has signed on to score the upcoming mystery adventure Enola Holmes. The film is directed by Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag) and stars Millie Bobby Brown in the title role as Sherlock Holmes’s much younger – and equally intelligent – sister, as well as Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Sam Claflin, Helena Bonham Carter, Fiona Shaw, Adeel Akhtar, Frances de la Tour, Louis Partridge, Susan Wokoma and Burn Gorman. Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Wonder) wrote the screenplay based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries book series by Nancy Springer. Mary Parent (The Revenant, Pacific Rim, Godzilla) and Alex Garcia are producing the project for Legendary Pictures, alongside Millie Bobby Brown and Paige Brown for PCMA Management and Productions. Enola Holmes just started principal photography and is expected to be released in 2020 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Pemberton’s other upcoming projects include Edward Norton’s Motherless Brooklyn, which will premiere in September at the Toronto Film Festival before opening in theaters on November 1, as well as Netflix’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, which will premiere on Netflix on August 30.
