Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Armstrong. The album features the film’s original score composed by Chris Roe (Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo, Death of a Gentleman). Also included is the original song Flight of Fancy written by Neil Armstrong’s son Mark Armstrong and performed by the astronaut’s granddaughter Kali Armstrong. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 12 (click here to download the album). A CD version will also be available. Armstrong directed by David Fairhead and featuring the voice of Harrison Ford details Armstrong’s near-death experiences as a fighter pilot in Korea, his test pilot days, the drama and excitement of the Gemini 8 and Apollo 11 missions, and the challenges that followed his extraordinary fame. The documentary will be released in select theaters and on VOD this weekend by Gravitas Ventures. Visit the official movie website for more information.
