Another project scored by Federico Jusid is premiering in the U.S. on Friday, December 28. The composer has composed the music for the historical drama A Twelve-Year Night (La noche de 12 años) written and directed by Alvaro Brechner and starring Antonio de la Torre, Chino Darín and Alfonso Tort. The movie tells the true story of three prisoners held in Uruguay in 1973 who were taken from their cells in the middle of the night and kept in solitary confinement for more than 12 years. The drama, which was selected as Uruguay’s candidate for the foreign-language Oscar, premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and is making its domestic debut exclusively on Netflix.
